SENDO'S SUSTAINABLE RESPONSE TO THE BLACK FRIDAY OF CONSUMERISM

Black Friday is the name used in the United States to refer to the Friday after Thanksgiving, and since the 1950s it has marked the beginning of Christmas shopping and related sales.

Over the years, it has evolved from a single day of discounts into a full-fledged period when unregulated and compulsive shopping has taken over in many countries around the world.

Initially conceived as an opportunity for limited offers, it has turned into a frenzy of purchases, often non-essential and harmful to the environment.

This year, 24 November will be the culminating day on which participating brands and shops will focus the most.

In this era devoted to hyper-consumerism and endless discounts, we at Sendo want to distinguish ourselves with a courageous decision: to suspend promotions on our e-commerce from 20 to 27 November.

BUILD A FUTURE IN HARMONY WITH THE ENVIRONMENT: BECOME A PROTAGONIST OF CHANGE WITH US

Sendo's values of respect for nature and the environment are closely linked to those of conscious consumption. We would like, with this gesture, to invite our community to reflect on the real needs of purchases, orienting themselves towards quality and necessary choices.

This break from promotions is therefore an invitation to rewrite consumption habits, buying highly effective products that are also synonymous with a more sustainable lifestyle.

It is not only an appeal to consumers, but also to companies: avoiding actions that impact the environment should guide the production of consumer goods.

Each of us can be a protagonist of change through daily choices in balance with the environment.

Respect means choice and Sendo is a choice for those who seek the true meaning of well-being, not only for themselves but also for the ecosystem of which we are all part.
