Sendo products are accredited by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). The PETA Cruelty-free and Vegan certification confirms that the products bearing the logo contain no ingredients of animal origin and have not been tested on animals.

Sendo products are developed and created in our laboratory in Granarolo dell’Emilia, near Bologna, in Italy.

No Sendo products contain ingredients of animal origin. In fact, they are accredited by the PETA Cruelty-free and Vegan programme.

Sendo products are made with a high proportion of natural ingredients - up to 98% - with the exception of our styling products, which aim to guarantee a professional result.

Sendo products do not contain the surfactants SLS and SLES. Instead, we use a calibrated mix of vegetable-derived surfactants.

Wherever possible, we have stopped using silicones, not only because they are non-biodegradable, but also because they have a filmogenic action and impede the function of the active ingredients.

We have said no to petrolatum and mineral oils, which are harmful for the environment, and instead prefer to use naturally-derived ingredients that are more respectful to the ecosystem.

The company has worked towards following the guidelines provided by the RSPO standard, which aims to counter the non-sustainable production of palm oil. Palm oil is one of the main raw materials used in the cosmetics industry, and it is therefore essential to support and promote sustainability across the supply chain.

Our packaging is made of 100% post-consumer recycled PET (a material created from plastic recycling).

Sendo products are made using biotechnological extracts, biological extracts and oils and active functional prebiotics, using natural active ingredients without harming nature.

Sendo products are not tested on animals, in line with European law, which banned animal testing in 2004.

All our products are safe and can be used both in pregnancy and while breastfeeding. However, we do recommend that you consult your GP if you are in any doubt.

To find out the Period After Opening (PAO), please check the information on the product label. The information is displayed as an icon representing an open jar, with a number showing the length of use in months (e.g. 12 M). After opening, it’s essential to follow the guidelines for storing the product.

All Sendo product formulas are tested for nickel (<1 ppm) to guarantee greater tolerability for skin that is hyper-sensitive to this ingredient.

INCI (International Nomenclature Cosmetic Ingredients) is the international designation used to indicate all the ingredients contained in a cosmetic product on its label. The list of ingredients is preceded by the word “Ingredients”. All substances present in the cosmetic formula are listed in decreasing order of quantity, down to 1%.

Sendo products are designed to be safe when used according to the normal conditions of use. All our products are made in compliance with European law on cosmetic products and meet the rigorous standards relating to ingredients, finished products and communications. The company also holds certification by one of the principal authorities for world certification on two different international standards: ISO 9001 e ISO 22716. These standards reinforce and strengthen the control systems within the factory, and at the same time provide a guarantee of superior quality.

Sendo delivery times are 1-2 working days from the date the order is prepared. Delivery times can vary due to circumstances outside our control, such as the weather, courier issues and strikes. Orders received on Saturday and/or Sunday will be processed on the following Monday. Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday, during office hours, excluding national holidays.

Delivery is charged at €6 per transaction. For all purchases over €40, delivery is free.

Sendo delivers across the whole of Italy. San Marino and the Vatican State are included in national delivery.

FRIZZ CONTROL

Before confirming your order, you should check that the delivery address provided is correct, and that you have filled in all the required fields. If you are out when your parcel arrives, the courier will make a second delivery attempt, after which the package will be returned to us.

Products purchased at www.sendoconcept.it can be returned within 14 days of receiving the product, in line with the Right of Termination. The returned product must be in its original packaging, as new and never used. To organise a return, you should contact our Customer Services team and follow the instructions they give you. Return costs are met by the purchaser.
